Invited to participate in the Botanical Couture Fashion Show alongside world renowned Designer & Instructor Franciouse Weeks was a privilege we couldn't say no to. Bentley Fleurs Founder Kelley designed a fully wearable Floral Gown, Floral Shoes and a long Floral Cape for her daughter Abby to model, fulfilling a promise made several years ago to her that she would figure out how to make a wearable gown in addition to the mannequin gowns she has designed and installed for Fleurs De Villes each year since 2022.
Rose Petal Covered CApe, Rose Shoes and Fresh Floral Dress on the Runway
The Fresh Floral Botanical Pieces Abby is modeling are a Moss Covered dress with inlets of fresh carnations, wax flowers and roses. The Cape flowing over her shoulders and down to her fee and her shoes feature over a thousand fresh rose petals requiring Kelley to sew and glue for 19 hours straight the night and early morning hours just before the show.

When asked why she commited to such a huge undertaking creating a fresh floral gown, cape and shoes just days after her first Brick and Mortar Store's Valentines Week and two weeks after opening her new 979 sq ft retail space in Downtowon Portland on Broadway, referred to as Portland's French-inspired Experiential Floral Boutique, she simply says.... "I made a promise to my girl" - Kelley
