Award Winning Lady La Cheritè
Meet Lady La Cheritè, my first floral mannequin for Fleurs De Villes, she won Best in Show and Fan Favorite in Seattle Washington, USA this past June 2023. Using preserved local flowers on the sash and bodice and headpiece allowed me to do some of the work before arriving in Seattle. Thank you Peterkort Roses for sponsoring some of the ranunculas. Dried and Preserved ranunculas from local Peterkort Roses, ornamental oregano and peonies from our gardens are the base of her headpiece, adding in fresh clematis, chocolate vines and curly willow from the gardens and locally grown Purple Rat Tail Statice give her headpiece it's bespoke garden style feel.
Lady La Cheritès shoes are made from peony petals from our gardens that we preserved and glued on petal by petal. I trimmed the shoes with pieces of lavender rat tail statice and finished it with a fresh garden mum flower.
